The T-4 concept was After designing and building Trophy Trucks for the Trick Truck and 6100 class, Brian Shaleen, dreamed the idea of building a truck that was similar in specifications to a Class 10 car, but that was affordable, safe, and most importantly - FAST!
Brian relied on his experience from building race vehicles that compete in the premier classes in off-road racing. His The design wasof a light-weight truck chassis that could bes, combined with a turbo charged, high horsepower, 4 cylinder engine, to obtain a very was developed with a competitive horsepower to weight ratio.o in mind.
Using the latest CAD design technology and the experienced fabricators at Fusion Off Road, the truck began to take shape. Since the truck didn’t fit into any of the established competition classes, Brian approached Best in The Desert and worked out specifications and rules for a 4100 class.
The T-4 made its competition debut at the Mohave Off Road Enthusiast, Slash X, Duel in the Desert Race in February 2022. The truck was piloted by Reed Shaleen and finished first in the 7200 class.
